2007 Nissan Altima receives Good rating in IIHS frontal offset crash test

Arlington, Virginia – The recently-redesigned 2007 Nissan Altima received a ‘Good’ crash test rating in the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety’s (IIHS) frontal offset crash tests, announced the Institute. Two tests of the Altima were conducted, one by the Institute and the other by Nissan. Ratings are based on both tests. Side and rear impact crash tests have not yet been conducted.

In the IIHS 40 mph frontal offset crash test, the 2007 Altima receive Good ratings in all categories: structure/safety cage, occupant injuries, and restraints/dummy kinetics.
