2006 Toyota RAV4 debuted at Frankfurt Show
Toronto, Ontario – Toyota will be debuting its completely updated 2006 RAV4 compact SUV at the Frankfurt Motor Show in Germany.
Compared to previous generations, the new RAV4 is more spacious, more comfortable, and is equipped with more features and higher performance.
The third-generation RAV4 includes a choice of four- or six-cylinder engines, all-new drive-train and chassis, electric power steering, electronically-controlled Active Torque Control 4WD, traction control, enhanced vehicle stability control, anti-lock brakes, and an optional seven-airbag system that includes the first driver’s knee airbag in a compact SUV.
Other improvements include a longer, wider body, longer wheelbase, a flat-folding second-row seat, and an optional third-row seat.
