2006 Canadian International Auto Show introduces Career Academy
Toronto, Ontario – The Toronto Auto Dealers (TADA) and the
Canadian International Auto Show (CIAS) are proud to introduce a new education initiative: Career Academy taking place at the 2006 Canadian International Auto Show.
Career Academy is a new feature that will exhibit colleges and automotive associations to provide information to students, and the public, about automotive career opportunities available today. Exhibitor representatives will be present for the duration of the Auto Show to answer questions and hand out material about how to obtain a job in the automotive industry.
This program is not only for students planning their future; it’s for teachers helping students, adults looking for retraining programs, and people looking for a career change.
Career Academy has a growing number of participants including Centennial, Durham, Georgian, Humber, and Fanshawe Colleges, as well as the Collision Industry Action Group and various Solar and SAE Teams. Each participant will be present to offer information and give advice about choosing a career in the automotive industry.
Career Academy will run from February 17 – 26, 2006 at the Canadian International Auto Show. Visit them in room 701 of the South Metro Toronto Convention Centre.
