1960 Chevrolet Corvette wins “Best in Show” from Gran Turismo

Las Vegas, Nevada – A 1960 Corvette has won “Best in Show” at the fourth annual Gran Turismo Awards, securing an opportunity for the car to be featured in an upcoming version of the Playstation video game.

The event was held in conjunction with SEMA, the world’s largest auto aftermarket show, at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas. Award winners and VIPs of the automotive industry had a chance to test their driving skills on GT HD for Playstation 3, which goes on sale in two weeks.

The winners, selected from hundreds of entries at SEMA, were Best in Show and Best Hot Rod to Craig Morrison, 1960 Chevrolet Corvette; Best European Import to Don Nicholson, 2008 Volvo C30; Best Domestic Automobile to Tajai Das, 2006 Pontiac Solstice; Best Japanese Automobile to Leigh Guarnieri, 2007 Honda Fit; and Best Truck/SUV to Daryl Klassen and Mike DeFord, 2006 Hummer H3.
