17th Willistead Classic Concours d’Elegance to be held this Sunday in Windsor, Ontario

Windsor, Ontario – The 17th Invitational Willistead Classic Concours d’Elegance will take place on Sunday, August 28th, from 9 am until 4 pm on the grounds of historic Willistead Manor, located at 1899 Niagara Street in Windsor, Ontario. This show also features a “Road Tour” on Saturday August 27 where over 75 of these classics in attendance will take a 30 km tour along the historic Windsor waterfront on Riverside Drive from 3 pm until 5pm.

This year, the event will feature an Auburn Cord Duesenberg, “The Return of the Dodge Charger” presented by Mopar, and the 50th anniversary of the Chevrolet small block. Participation in this prestigious event is by invitation only and over 175 hand-picked vintage automobiles are expected to make up this year’s field. The Willistead Classic welcomes Dieppe Insurance Brokers as this year’s principal sponsor.

The focus will once again be on the great American Classics from the 1925-1948 era but will also feature everything from the brass era to muscle cars.

Admission to this year’s show is $10 for adults with children 12 and under free when accompanied by an adult. All proceeds from this year’s show will again go directly to the Willistead Manor restoration fund. Proceeds from past shows have contributed well over $100,000 to this cause.
