All Esso gasoline grades certified Top Tier

Imperial Oil has announced that all grades of its Esso-branded gasolines carry the Top Tier certification. The Top Tier Detergent Gasoline program was developed by General Motors, BMW, Honda, Toyota, Volkswagen and Audi to recognize fuels that meet standards for cleaning agents to control engine deposits.

Collector car insurance company Hagerty has listed the top ten 2011 models it predicts will become future collectibles. The company annually asks its team of valuations experts to select which mass-produced vehicles under US$100,000 will most appeal to collectors in the future.

GM adds 700 employees at Ontario plant

General Motors has added 700 employees to support a second shift at its plant in Oshawa, Ontario in preparation for the launch of the Chevrolet Camaro convertible and Buick Regal. The plant currently builds the Camaro coupe.
