Proposed U.S. legislation would boost electric vehicles

U.S legislators have proposed bi-partisan bills that would provide up to US$11 billion in funding to support the quick deployment of electric vehicles (EVs). The funding would include consumer incentives and tax credits and has an ultimate goal of half of all cars and trucks in the U.S. to be electric by 2030.
