2009 smart fortwo brabus
Montreal, Quebec – The new 2009 Smart Fortwo Brabus has made its Canadian premiere appearance at the Montreal International Auto Show, en route to Canadian showrooms in February.
The Brabus edition will come in two models, as a coupe or cabriolet, priced at $21,900 and $24,900 respectively.
The Smart Brabus has been tailored for enhanced appearance and handling, with sportier exhaust tuning, sports chassis and suspension components, and a body lowered by 10 mm. Both models use the 70-horsepower, three-cylinder gasoline engine found in regular models, while the five-speed automated manual transmission has been tuned for improved shifting.
The Brabus Monoblock VII alloy wheels are 15 inches in front and 17 inches in rear, while the double-B Brabus emblem is found on the fuel filler door, and the Brabus name is spelled out on the front and rear of the vehicle. Front and side skirts add a sporty appearance. Inside, the Brabus models include brushed aluminum pedals, embroidered velour floor mats, heated leather seats, and additional dashboard instruments which are options on the regular Smart Fortwo.
