Detroit, Michigan – The North American International Auto Show has announced that the Doobie Brothers rock band will perform at the event’s annual black-tie Charity Preview gala on January 16. The concert will be open exclusively to Charity Preview attendees.
“The Doobie Brothers performing at Charity Preview will make this truly a night to remember for our guests,” said Joe Serra, senior co-chair of the show. “Adding a band like this with their history and calibre to the evening’s festivities is a perfect fit for a fun night for Detroiters, while supporting 12 local children’s charities.”
Attendees must present their Charity Preview ticket stubs at the entrance to Cobo Arena to see the performance. Seating and standing room will be available, along with food and refreshments.
Since its inception in 1976, the Charity Preview has raised over US$77 million for children’s charities in metro Detroit, with over $32 million raised in the last five years alone.
Tickets for the event are US$400 each and can be purchased by visiting Charity Preview.
